San Juan

San Juan is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas. It is part of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission and Reynosa–McAllen metropolitan areas. The community was organized in 1909, in part, due to the efforts of John Closner. The City of San Juan is most commonly known for “Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan” which is one of the largest churches in the Rio Grande Valley.
